Sylvia, a student who loves math, begins zipping through her school years by means of unintended time travel, only to discover the exciting events and equations that lie ahead. While she is not working to keep up, Sylvia manages to find the key back to being a little girl in Camp Hill, Alabama so she can live every minute of school. Eventually Sylvia earned a PhD in math, enjoyed family life, and became the dean of a college. The unexpected time travel twist in Dr. Sylvia Bozeman’s life story, as told in The Mathventures of Sylvia, is a testament to her boundless belief in the power of the imagination that has led her to encourage many in higher pursuits.
